Diagnosis: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Current Age: 12 years old
Cole's story, as told by his father, Mike:
On November 12, 2007, Cole was diagnosed with ALL, a form of leukemia, just 12 days after his second birthday. He was hospitalized his first 2 months of treatment due to a secondary fungal infection which invaded his heart, lungs, spinal column and brain. However, thanks to the doctors at CHKD and Cole's indomitable spirit, Cole persevered through 3 and a half years of chemotherapy and anti-fungals. He has now been cancer free for over a decade!
